About the artist

I’m a self-taught artist who’s been making and exploring art for over 30 years, with a background in theatre design and performance that continues to shape how I see and create. Watercolor is my favorite medium—it’s unpredictable, expressive, and full of surprises, much like working on stage. I’m drawn to capturing quiet moments that feel suspended in time, where memory and feeling overlap. My work is about storytelling—sometimes personal, sometimes universal—and I aim to create pieces that invite people to slow down, look closer, and connect. Whether it’s through a wash of color or a single line, I try to let each piece carry its own mood and voice.
